Category: Conferences Coordinator: Daniel MooreHow many times have you heard someone tell you they have a problem in their life, and you are not really sure how to help them? Or maybe you have been trying to overcome a struggle, but you’re not sure how to change. The truth is: we all give counsel, to others and ourselves. The real question is: "what sort of counselor are you?” and “how biblical is your counsel?" Well, this is where Biblical Counseling comes in!
Join us for three weekends over three months at NorthCreek Church for their annual NorthCreek Counseling Training (NCT). CLICK HERE for more information and to register!

You will receive the registration confirmation email after you go to the NCT website and register for the event.
FAQs
What is special about this training? We are constantly listening to advice and counsel as to how we should live our lives. The things we listen to come from worldly and Christian sources. Many of us know that we should be listening to God's Word for how we should live our lives, but the sad reality is that not all "Christian" counsel is biblical. And not all counsel that is labeled as "biblical counsel" is biblical. True biblical counsel is not just about using Scripture for yourself and others, it is about an attitude where you submit every part of your life to Scripture. The speakers at NCT are trusted men and women who seek to counsel others in a truly biblical way.
Is childcare provided? No childcare is provided. The Fundamentals track takes place in the NorthCreek Church main auditorium, which does have a cry-room that allows you to watch and listen the session while not disturbing others.
Can my child or teen come along? For safety and legal reasons, children are not allowed on campus during the conference, except newborns/nursing babies. The NCT conference is most suitable for those 18 years or older. However, if you are a teenager and you are interested in attending one of the tracks, contact Pastor Daniel to see about getting registered.
What about meals? From the NCT website: "Snacks and drinks are included in your registration cost. We ask that you eat dinner prior to attending on Friday nights. This year, we will be offering an optional lunch for purchase on Saturdays (more information to come). Alternatively, the schedule will allow you to leave campus for lunch."
Is there a way to save some money on hotel and gas costs? Yes! Once you forward your registration confirmation email to Sandra (see details above), you will be added to a group where you can collaborate with other LCBC attendees for carpooling and/or booking hotel rooms.
What if I can't make it to all three weekends? Even if you know that you will have to miss one of the weekends, this is still a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of! You are still welcome to come even if you cannot attend all of the weekends. If you think you can only attend one of the three weekends, we suggest you save some money and go to the NCT website and listen to their audio sessions from past NCT conferences.
